Artificial Plants and Flowers
is a project that uses faux wood-patterned foam made from non-recyclable deadstock materials. The foam, featuring a cartoon-like wood grain design, is repurposed as an alternative to traditional canvases. Acrylic paint is used to create illustrations of artificial plants and flowers, blending textured surfaces with playful imagery. The project raises questions about nature and the blurred lines between what is real and what is artificial, as well as our perception and feelings toward the natural world.
This collection was created as part of the showcase at theCOMMONS Art Weekend.
