The “Brooms Reimagined” exhibition is part of the Re-Route: Orchard’s Adaptation Showcase by CTRL+R Collective.
In this project, we present a reinterpretation of brooms made from plastic waste. Single-use materials such as discarded plastic bottles and straws, as well as processed plastics transformed by factories into synthetic rattan and plastic pipes, were repurposed into functional brooms with a new life. This exhibition invites viewers to explore the potential of everyday materials and their unconventional uses, fostering creativity while emphasizing sustainability and environmental regeneration.
